Book ClubSt. John's Book Club includes book lovers who have stimulating and fun conversations about books they have all read. Title selections vary, from Christian topics to popular and literary fiction to relevant non-fiction titles. The group typically selects less expensive paperback books over hardback, books that are in print and available and can often be found as a used copy; no more than about 400-500 pages. Meetings are usually held at 7 PM on the 3rd Monday of each month at Eagle Eye Book Shop in Decatur.
Young AdultsOur young adults (of no set age limit!) often brunch together after worship, and join together in fellowship on sporadic occasions. To get in touch, just come say hello at church or look for us on Facebook!

Theology on TapTheology on Tap meets the second Monday of each month for food, drink and conversation. We meet at 7pm at Manuel’s Tavern at the corner of North and Highland Avenues. Each month a different person selects a topic, perhaps a Biblical passage or a current event, for discussion about how this topic relates to our spiritual lives. The group averages 8-10 people each month. Some are regulars and some are drop-ins. Bring a friend or come alone. We’re a welcoming group. It’s a casual atmosphere and pay-your-own-way for food and drink, but the discussion is free and everyone is encouraged to participate.

Women's GroupThe women of St. John's, both visitors and members, gather on a regular basis for a meal or activity to connect with and support one another. The group meets regularly for fellowship, and makes a retreat once a year for a "Wild Women's Weekend."
