FAITH FORMATION

Each Sunday at 9:30 AM faith formation class is offered for children ages 5+. This structured time of story and play, assist children in exploring the Bible story of the day and considering the ways they are empowered to share God’s love with the world. Additionally, we connect families with resources to continue faith learning and exploration at home.

KIDS CLUB

The St. John’s Kid’s Club meets monthly on Sundays following worship to share lunch and dive deeper into various aspects of faith. Throughout the year we move through Faith Stepping Stones. Our time is filled with story exploration, crafts, music, and play. This is one way we support families in our baptismal promises and empower them to further their understanding of faith.

CONFIRMATION

Youth who are 6th grade + are invited to be part of a confirmation cohort, a small group that begins learning the basic tenant teachings of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. This three year program dives in to the Hebrew Scriptures, New Testament, Luther’s Small Catechism, the ELCA Social Statements, and more. Following three years of education, youth are given the option to confirm their faith.
