WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU VISIT

BELONGING & AFFIRMATION

At St. John’s we recognize the inherent dignity and image of God in each person. No matter your religious knowledge, socioeconomic status, or expression of individuality, you belong here!

When you arrive, you will find parking spaces marked for visitors and can enter near the round sanctuary or in the carriage entrance (through the portico).

You will be greeted by members who are genuinely happy to see you and get to know you. If you have a question about the facility, worship practices, or our congregation, please ask us!

A PLACE TO EXPLORE FAITH

Each of us is on a spiritual journey to know God more fully. This journey often takes the form of exploring faith through the Scriptures, preaching, singing, and study. It also looks like building relationships where we are both safe and brave in asking really difficult questions.

Growth in faith is not just for adults, those who have answers, or the strong of heart. This journey is both communal and individualistic and here at St. John’s we grow in faith together, no matter where we are!

No matter where you find yourself in your spiritual journey, you belong here!

A COMMUNITY OF SERVICE

The good news God gives to us through Jesus Christ is that we are called and empowered to serve others as an extension of our faith. Here at St. John’s we strive to offer dignity, affirmation, and care for those in need, our community as a whole, and for those society often pushes to the margins.

We do not do this work alone! Whether your passion is feeding those who are food insecure, supporting educational opportunities for the community, or volunteering to keep our community clean, you belong here as we work together to share the love of Christ in both word and deed.
